My family and I are missionaries to Ukraine with Ministry to Educate and Equip International (www.mtee.org) based in Richmond, VA. I am director of the Institute for the Development of Christian Leadership (www.idcl.org.ua), Vision's representative for Ukraine, Moldova and western Russia. My wife, Susan, is forms manager for all of the countries of central and eastern Europe where MTEE operates, acting as clearinghouse for all diploma requests made to VIU USA. Our son, Carl, is attending college at Greenville College in Greenville, IL. I have a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as associate professor of mathematics education at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for nine years before becoming a missionary. Oh, and I love Jesus!
