    Brief description

    Presently I am the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Namibia. I am an ordained pastor and a member of the International Pentecostal/WARC (Reformed) Dialogue as well as the Pentecostal/Lutheran Dialogue

    Who am I?

    I was born on 25 November 1952 in Johannesburg, South Africa. I studied law and worked as a prosecutor before studying theology. I obtained a PhD from the University of Western Cape in 1988. My thesis dealt with the political theology of Karl Barth. I was a pastor for 22 years before returning to the legal profession. I am a Christian pacifist.
    Presently I am the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Namibia. I am an ordained pastor and a member of the International Pentecostal/WARC (Reformed) Dialogue as well as the Pentecostal/Lutheran Dialogue. I was a co-drafter of The Matthew 5:21-26 Project: Evangelicals for National Security through International Cooperation. I am involved in theological training in Namibia. I have published extensively in the fields of ethics, theology and law. My latest book deals with the rule of law in Namibia (with Anton Bosl).
